Course modules

Our immersive training develops your technical and professional skills, giving you the key foundational knowledge to start and progress in your career in cloud.

AWS Cloud Practitioner

Understand the Cloud Foundations as you start work on your cloud learning essentials, alongside an introduction to the AWS Cloud.

AWS Solutions Architect Associate

Develop the skills to design and implement available, cost-efficient, fault-tolerant, and scalable distributed systems on AWS.

Linux

You'll learn the fundamentals of both Linux commands and Bash Shell Scripting, both of which you'll use in your day-to-day work.

Infrastructure-as-Code

You will learn Python for automation, AWS Cloudformation, and Hashicorp Terraform to build solutions using code.

Other Cloud Platforms

We will cover Google Cloud Platform and learn to map its services to AWS, highlight the differences and discuss poly-cloud strategies.

Professional skills

Develop consulting skills aligned to delivery methodologies such as Agile and enhance your communication, presentation, and interview skills.

All the training at Digital Futures is underpinned by industry-aligned certifications, ensuring all of our engineers are set up for success.

The initial 12-week immersive training Academy takes a candidate through the AWS Cloud Practitioner and AWS Solutions Architect Associate (SAA-C03) courses and exams. 

All of your training and exams from foundation level, through to associate and professional level are provided through the AWS Academy and you will be supported by Digital Futures every step of the way.

Ryan Pothecary
Cloud Engineering Lead Instructor

Ryan is the Cloud Engineering Training Lead at Digital Futures, with responsibility for creating, developing and delivering our Cloud Engineering pathway.

Ryan has been in the IT industry for over 30 years, during which he has held architect and consultant roles for a number of companies, including senior solution architect roles at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he helped customers with their move to the cloud.

He is passionate about ensuring the IT industry better reflects society and believes that education leads to experience and opportunity.
