Future Talent Programme
Our Future Talent Programme offers a unique entry point for individuals looking to start their career in technology.
The programme begins with immersive training at the Digital Futures Academy, where trainees gain the essential technical expertise, consulting skills, and practical experience required for success.
Following the successful completion of our Academy and attainment of an industry certification, trainees will be deployed as consultants within high-performing technology teams at Digital Futures’ clients.

Your journey with Digital Futures
On this programme, you will complete industry-aligned immersive training, preparing you to take your certification before starting your career in tech as a Digital Futures consultant

Training
The 12-weeks of immersive training at the Digital Futures Academy follows a structured approach, designed to prepare trainees to become highly-skilled consultants in their chosen pathway.
Training begins with the 3-week Digital Futures Foundation, focusing on programming fundamentals and the change lifecycle. Following the Foundation, each pathway trains in specialist, domain-specific knowledge before focusing on client-specific upskilling.
All of the technical training at the Digital Futures Academy is underpinned by in-depth professional skills training to equip consultants with the skills to deliver high-value solutions and seamlessly integrate into client teams.

Graduation
Graduating from the Digital Futures Academy is an essential step that each trainee must complete before becoming a Digital Futures consultant ready for deployment with our clients.
To successfully graduate from the Academy, you will need to:
- Complete all of the projects and challenges for your pathway
- Pass your industry certification
- Complete a competency interview with a member of the Digital Futures team

Deployment
Deployment opportunities will be identified on your behalf by our team, who will support in preparing you for your client interview.
When you successfully pass a client interview, you will be offered a
full-time employment contract with Digital Futures and you will start working as a consultant at one of the world’s leading companies, applying your skills and expertise to exciting, innovative, and
impactful projects.

Progression
Throughout your deployment, you will be supported by a dedicated Delivery Manager. They will be a trusted point of contact for you, focused on empowering and supporting you as you embark on the start of your career in technology. Your Delivery Manager will manage your progression as you grow in confidence and build your resilience as a Digital Futures consultant.
You will have weekly team check-ins with all the Digital Futures consultants deployed at the same organisation, regular performance reviews and ongoing one-to-one meetings with your Delivery Manager. We will continuously invest in your skills, ensuring that your development is aligned to your career goals.

Business Analysis

Business analysis involves working with multiple stakeholders to investigate and model business functions, identify problems and new opportunities, and develop effective business solutions through improvements in processes and technology.
Data Analytics

Data analytics involves gathering, analysing and interpreting large amounts of data. Using your technical, analytical and communication skills, you will make data accessible and identify key patterns to help optimize business processes.
Data Engineering

Data engineering involves designing and building systems for collecting, storing and analysing data at scale. Data engineers bring together software, cloud and data skills to construct data infrastructure for our clients.

Our application process
From application, through to assessment and interview, we are with you every step of the way.
Application
Our application process is straightforward, accessible and open to everyone. There are no pre-requisites to join the Academy - it doesn't matter what your background is, what or where you studied or how much experience you have.
Assessment
You will be invited to complete your assessment via our bespoke online learning platform, Skills. You will be assessed for your unique traits, strengths and aptitude in a series of written, numerical and technical challenges.
Screening Interview
If you are successful in our online assessment, you will be invited to interview with a member of the Digital Futures team. This interview is personal and designed to be a two-way conversation so that you get to know us, and we get to know you.
Final Interview
In the final stage, you will be invited to complete a final interview with the lead instructor from your chosen pathway. You will be expected to demonstrate a clear understanding of the concepts covered in the technical assessment.
Offer
If you are successful, you will receive a phone call from our Admissions Team offering you a place in our Academy. You will then receive an offer letter and a contract outlining the key terms of your training period.
Onboarding
Once you have accepted your place, you will receive a welcome pack and gain access to our bespoke training platform, our communications platform, and extra learning resources to help you prepare for the Digital Futures Academy.

Digital Futures took the initial passion I had for data and tech, grew my ambition to pursue it as a career and then gave me the tools and opportunity to actually do that – I will always be grateful to Digital Futures for that.

I really needed to do the Digital Futures Academy. I needed the training, from technical to professional skills. If I’d gone straight into a corporate job I would have found it so difficult. I’m now a Solution Platform Architect in an ESG team at a global bank.
