Digital Futures is seeking a highly skilled Business Manager to support our CEO in managing key institutional relationships, driving corporate development activities, and ensuring seamless executive operations. This is a critical role for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the CEO’s Institutional Relationships
- Oversee and strengthen relationships with Digital Futures’ key institutional partners, including corporate clients, government entities, and industry stakeholders.
- Ensure regular engagement and follow-up with strategic partners to drive long-term collaboration.
- Prepare briefing materials and reports for the CEO’s key external meetings.
Supporting Corporate Development & New Business
- Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
- Conduct market research and prepare business cases for growth opportunities.
- Support the CEO in commercial discussions and negotiations.
Managing Relationships with Key Stakeholders
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Board, investors, and other key stakeholders.
- Coordinate and prepare Board materials, investor updates, and executive reports.
- Manage communication between the CEO and stakeholders, ensuring alignment on strategic priorities.
Managing the CEO’s Public Profile
- Oversee the CEO’s external engagements, including speaking opportunities, media appearances, and industry events.
- Draft speeches, presentations, and thought leadership content.
- Ensure consistency in messaging across public and private engagements.
Managing the CEO’s Schedule & Executive Operations
- Proactively manage the CEO’s calendar, ensuring optimal prioritisation of meetings and travel.
- Coordinate high-level meetings, including agenda setting, minutes, and follow-ups.
- Handle confidential and time-sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
Key Requirements
- Professional Services Background: Experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, or a similar high-performance environment.
- Exceptional Communication & Presentation Skills: Ability to engage with senior stakeholders, draft high-quality content, and represent the CEO effectively.
- Strong Organisational & Project Management Abilities: Proven track record of managing complex schedules, projects, and relationships.
- Business Acumen & Commercial Awareness: Understanding of corporate strategy, business development, and stakeholder management.
- Discretion & Professionalism: Ability to handle confidential matters with the highest level of integrity.
- Proactive & Detail-Oriented: A self-starter who anticipates needs, solves problems, and ensures seamless execution of tasks.
