Become a future tech leader
Digital Futures is offering individuals looking to start their careers in tech with the unique opportunity to train at our Academy and start an exciting placement at one of Europe’s largest banks, based out of their brand-new hub in Stevenage.
Your immersive training with Digital Futures will set you up for success by providing you with the critical technical and professional skills that you’ll need to make an immediate impact at the bank.
Throughout your placement with the bank, you’ll be directly contributing to its critical digital initiatives whilst benefitting from continued ambient learning and upskilling as you develop into one of the bank’s future tech leaders.
What do you need to know?
- You will start your journey with 8-12 weeks of free, fully funded and instructor-led immersive training in one of the technical pathways at the Digital Futures Academy
- Following your training, you will start your 2-year employment with Digital Futures, during which you’ll be placed in an exciting tech role at one of Europe’s largest banks
- During your placement, you’ll be working up to 5 days a week at the bank’s brand-new office in Stevenage working on its critical digital transformation strategies
- At the end of your placement, you are likely to receive a permanent offer of employment from the bank as you look to become one of its tech leaders

Data Analytics
Data analytics involves gathering, analysing and interpreting large amounts of data. Using your technical, analytical and communication skills, you will make data accessible and identify key patterns to help optimize business processes.
Data Engineering
Data engineering involves designing and building systems for collecting, storing and analysing data at scale. Data engineers bring together software, cloud and data skills to construct data infrastructure for our clients.
Who can apply?
This opportunity is specifically targeted towards creating employment opportunities for non-university graduates in Stevenage and the surrounding area. Candidates can come from any background and
do not need to have any formal experience in technology.
Candidates will qualify for this opportunity if they:
- Live within a 20-mile radius of Stevenage
- Do not have a university degree
